Add some fun to your day and bridge game with a series of bridge lessons from NABC champion and ABTA master teacher, Kevin Wilson. The lessons will be presented on BBO & Zoom. You will get access to four classes over consecutive weeks and a short write-up of examples afterwards. Video replays of the lessons will be available after each lesson. This is a bidding fundamentals level course.

Takeout Doubles – Analyze rules for takeout doubles and why we choose to double. The difference in strategy between an overcall and a takeout double will be highlighted. This class also covers how to handle strong hands when the opponents have opened the bidding.

Responding to Partner’s Takeout Double – Learn the three strength ranges that advancer might hold and how to show the difference in strength when partner has made a takeout double. The use of a cuebid by the advancer will also be examined.
Monday July 3rd from 9:00 AM EDT- 9:50 AM EDT (GMT-4)
Responsive Doubles – Learn about the very useful Responsive Doubles convention. This is a double by the advancer. Master how to use the agreement and the confidence it gives responder in choosing a constructive auction.
Monday July 10th from 9:00 AM EDT- 9:50 AM EDT (GMT-4)
Higher Level Auctions and Responsive Doubles – The auction isn’t over after a responsive double. Discuss the follow-up auctions after a responsive double.
One payment of $35 will get you access to all four lessons.
